Prenkë Jakova
Born: Shkodër (Albania), 27 June 1917
Died: 16 September 1969
Jakova studied the clarinet in Rome while teaching himself composing.
In July 1956 he started composing the first Albanian opera ever. His musical
style is full of folk themes.
