This is a conflation of the original libretto as distributed by
l'Opéra-Comique with the complete text of the 2nd edition of the
vocal score (Heugel 1900, renewed 1927), which differs in some important
respects from the 1st edition and the libretto, particularly in the
assignment of roles among the seamstresses.
